Katerina Drymiskianaki is a postgraduate student in the Inter-institutional Postgraduate Program "Theatre and Film Studies" run by the Department of Philology of the University of Crete and IMS-FORTH. She is a graduate of the Department of Philology of the University of Crete, with a major in theater and film studies. In 2022 she participated with a talk about the cinema of Errikos Thalassinos in a one-day conference on his life and work, organized by the Institute of Mediterranean Studies-FORTH and the Vikelaia Municipal Library of Heraklion. She has worked under contract as faculty assistant at the University of Crete. Her research interests concern film studies and her MA thesis focuses on contemporary documentary films and migration.
