Eleni Tzima
Eleni Tzima has completed her undergraduate studies at the School of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016-2020) and then her postgraduate studies at the Departmental Postgraduate Studies Program of «Applied and Environmental Geology», with specialization «Applied Geophysics and Seismology» (2021-2023). Following her academic course, she is currently a PhD student at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while also collaborating with the Laboratory of Geophysical-Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeo-Environment, of the Institute of Mediterranean Studies, Foundation of Research and Technology-Hellas, as a research associate (2024-To date). Her research focuses on Electrical Resistivity Tomography and more specifically on the optimization techniques of these measurements, aiming to propose new protocols for the data acquisition, that will provide the optimum information for the identification of the electrical properties of the underground. She has participated in applied geophysical projects concerning geological, hydrogeological and environmental research that were conducted both in Greece and abroad.
