Workshop "Imaging the cultural dynamics in the transition zones with geoinformatics"
The Laboratory of Geophysical Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeoenvironment (GeoSat ReSeArch Lab) of Institute for Mediterranean Studies (IMS) of Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), in collaboration with the PROSPECT International Thematic Network and COASTLINE Project (Coastal Zone Environment and Geo-Sciences - https://www.coastline-msca.eu) will organize the workshop:
Imaging the cultural dynamics in the transition zones with geoinformatics
The workshop will take place at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies in Rethymno (Greece) on Thursday January 30th, 2025 and will feature three thematic academic sessions:
1. Satellite/Aerial/UAV remote sensing
2. Archaeological prospection
3. Maritime and underwater archaeology
