Conference on Archives and Business History

You are invited to the Conference on Archives and Business History. Movilidades, flujos de intercambios y transportes en la primera economía global, to be held on March 6, 2025, at the Williams Foundation, Av. Belgrano 1670, Buenos Aires. 

The conference is organized by the Bunge y Born Foundation, the Williams Foundation, the Techint Group Archive Center-TGAC, the Centro de Estudios Económicos de la Empresa y el Desarrollo (CEEED) of the University of Buenos Aires, the Red de Archivos de Empresas Argentina-Iniciativa de Archivos, the Programa de Estudios Históricos Contemporáneos (PEHAC) of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencias Sociales - Unidad Asociada UCA-CONICET, and the Instituto de Estudios Históricos y Sociales de La Pampa (IEHSOLP). The conference consists of two panels, where the following topics will be discussed: “Historical Studies of Economics and Business” and “Sources and Archives”. 

The main activity will be the presentation of Gelina Harlaftis' book “Onassis Business History”, https://brill.com/display/title/64382. 

There will also be a space called “Archive Gallery”, where the event participants can exhibit their work through a 3-minute video. Participation in this event is free of charge; it is only necessary to register in advance through the following link before February 28th, 2025.
